Filippo Merli is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of DEMAND Mining Pool, where he leads the development of decentralized mining protocols. He is the creator of the Stratum Reference Implementation (SRI), the first open-source implementation of Stratum V2, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and security of mining operations. At DEMAND, he has developed extensions to Stratum V2, including a fee revenue-sharing mechanism that allows miners to verify pool payouts when selecting transactions.
