Giw Zanganeh is the Vice President of Energy and Mining at Tether, where he leads initiatives to integrate renewable energy into Bitcoin mining operations. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and has an extensive background in renewable energy and energy storage, including previous work with ALACAES. In 2024, he co-initiated a proposal to amend the Swiss Federal Constitution, aiming to require the Swiss National Bank to hold Bitcoin alongside gold in its monetary reserves.
