Bitcoin Business Program
The Plan ₿ Biz School 2025 is an educational program dedicated to students and entrepreneurs who wish to find a non-technical job in a Bitcoin company. The curriculum covers Bitcoin fundamentals, practical applications, and insights from industry experts.
Starting in May, it is designed for students of all levels, who can access lectures either online or in person. After two rounds of selection, the top performers will be selected to attend a Summer School week in Lugano.

A Comprehensive Course for Future Bitcoin Professionals
Welcome to the Plan ₿ Biz School, an annual Bitcoin-centered educational program managed by Plan ₿ Network. With almost 102 hours of class spread across 34 lectures, this curriculum provides a comprehensive exploration of Bitcoin fundamentals and its practical applications. The course is specifically designed for future startup entrepreneurs, business students and professionals looking to work in the growing Bitcoin ecosystem in non-technical roles: from finance to marketing, from accounting to operations, from compliance to strategy.
Our course also features insights from world-famous experts who contribute as guest lecturers, offering their valuable perspectives on Bitcoin's principles and its potential impact on the global economy, beyond the hype and buzzwords. We will focus on both the theoretical understanding of this technology and the practical exploration of related tools, business cases, and best practices. In the end, participants will gain a thorough understanding of this disruptive phenomenon, by learning about its sociological roots, political implications, economic foundations, and business effects.

Plan ₿ School Yearly Program
The Plan ₿ School is a format created by Plan ₿ Network, consisting of 2 educational programs throughout the year:
- The Biz School in spring, from May to July
- The Tech School in autumn, from October to January
The two courses offer intensive three-month educational programs designed to bridge the gap between theorical learning and real-world applications. Beyond traditional classes, students engage in company-led practical projects and first-class bootcamps dedicated to top performers. Only the best talents advance after two competitive selection rounds, ensuring that the final top students get fully equipped to launch their careers in the Bitcoin industry. Whether you have a business mindset or a more technical background, if your goal is to gain a comprehensive and deep understanding of the Bitcoin ecosystem, one of our two specialized courses is designed for you.
Program Structure
A 3-phase program, including an industrial project and a Summer School
The Plan ₿ Biz School is organised in three different phases:
1. Curricular & guest lectures
From the beginning to the end of May, Giacomo Zucco will deliver two curricular lectures per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. He will present live from Lugano, Switzerland, and the classes will be conducted in English. Students will have the option to attend in person or access the live stream, since all sessions will be recorded for later viewing. In addition to Giacomo Zucco’s lectures, students will have the opportunity to learn from other Bitcoin experts (see last year’s guests below), who will be invited to share their insights every Friday, live streaming from different locations.
At the end of May, students will be selected based on their grades from their midterm and final exams.
2. A Bitcoin company led assignment
During the first half of June, selected students will be assigned projects by various Bitcoin companies. It will be a golden opportunity for them to apply their knowledge on practical cases, directly linked with real industrial needs. Assignments will be handled individually, and students will compete to be recognized as the top performer and earn a seat at the Summer School.
During June, guest lectures will continue twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, following the same format described above.
3. The Summer School
An intensive, hands-on bootcamp marks the culmination of the three-month program. During this week, the selected top 21 students will engage in daily expert-led lessons and workshops on Bitcoin business, strategy, and real-world applications, developing their skills for careers in the Bitcoin industry.
The Summer School requires physical attendance and will take place in Lugano, Switzerland, from the 21st to the 26th of July, Graduation day will be on the 26th .
Students participating in the Summer School will be required to make an additional payment of $2,500 to cover the tuition and the accommodation expenses (some scholarships and fee reductions will be awarded to the top ranking students).
Registration fees
- Early-bird registrations submitted before March 31, 2025, will benefit from a reduced rate of $250.
- From April to May, the registration fee will increase to $500.
- The registrations will close on May 14th, 2025, and no application will be accepted after this deadline.
Only top-performing students will be invited to the final Summer School in Lugano, which requires an additional fee of $2,500 to cover the tuition and accommodation expenses. Some scholarships and fee reductions will be awarded to the top ranking students.

Diploma ceremony
By the end of the program, only the selected top students are awarded a prestigious diploma, recognizing their dedication and expertise, to prove their skills to Bitcoin communities and businesses. From last year’s cohort of 21 bootcamp participants, 13 have since been hired by Bitcoin companies.

This course is taught by Giacomo Zucco
With an academic background in Physics and a background as a technology consultant, since 2013 Giacomo Zucco has reinvented himself as an active Bitcoin entrepreneur (BSolutions, Coincapital, Bitsource, Greenaddress, inBitcoin, Blockchainlab, 0301, BTCTimes, Bcademy, BHB Network) and event organizer (Milan Bitcoin Meetup, Scaling Bitcoin conferences, Understanding Bitcoin conferences). He has also worked as a freelance consultant and trainer and supported engineers in the creation of several open standards (such as BOLT, OTS, RGB, BDK). He is still involved as a consultant and micro-investor in many Bitcoin-related companies and organizations (OCEAN, Relai, Satsback, Xsats, Geyser, Invebit, Lightning Ventures, Breez, LNP-BP Association, Plan B Foundation), but his main focus since 2024 has been the Plan B Network initiative.
