How to Create a Bitcoin Community

Create a video channel (Youtube or Odyssee)

Some members of your community might want to create multimedia content, such as tutorial videos. You may also give presentations at meet-ups or even universities.
When that time comes, a dedicated video channel will let you publish and centralize all your content in one place.
Popular platforms include:
  • YouTube, widely used but not censorship-resistant.
  • Odyssee, less popular but decentralized through peer-to-peer technology.
  • peertube, lets you host your own video platform, though it's more complex to set up.
Whichever you choose, design platform-specific visuals to make your channel appealing. Canva, mentioned in part 2/8 offers a "YouTube Thumbnail" category with pre-made, customizable designs.
For recording from your computer, Streamlabs is free, feature-rich, and supports scene transitions. For video editing, Wondershare Filmora (about 45€/year) is simple to use and produces professional results quickly.
For your video's intro and outro, you can easily find suitable templates on Canva. Customize the design to your taste, download it, and add it to your editing software.
Tip: If Bitcoin is ever banned or censored, always keep a local backup of your videos on a hard drive.
