Using Canva

You can use Canva to create the various visuals for your community.
This free and easy-to-use platform is popular for its large library of pre-designed templates that you can duplicate and customize in just a few clicks.
Creating your logo On the Canva home page, search for pre-designed logos. Select one or several that inspire you, duplicate them, and then customize them to match your community.
You can add a local landmark or emblem to the background (import a photo or search "Illustrations" or "Images" in the Elements menu), then overlay the Bitcoin logo or ₿, adjusting its color if needed.
Creating banners and posters To create a banner or poster, search Canva's library for pre-designed templates. Once you've duplicated one, modify the text and fonts, add your community logo, and import any photos using frames (search for "frame" in the Elements menu).
You can also use the Designs menu to explore additional models that match your needs.
For YouTube thumbnails or banners, simply search for those templates, duplicate, and customize them as desired.
In short, the possibilities are endless and shaped not only by your needs but also by the visual style you want to create for your community and your meet-ups / events!

Using artificial intelligence

While Canva offers a wide range of tools for creating logos, posters, banners, and flyers, it's not the only option. If you're more comfortable with other software (like Photoshop or Illustrator), feel free to use what works best for you.
That said, whether you're designing a community logo or enhancing posters, presentations, or flyers, artificial intelligence can be a powerful ally for creating unique and appealing visuals.
A number of AIs are available for this purpose. These include
Many other AI tools have emerged recently, so this list is far from exhaustive.
Example: Creating a Futuristic Bitcoin London Logo If you want to design a futuristic logo for a "Bitcoin London" meet-up, you can ask Copilot:
  • Prompt: Create a Bitcoin logo with London Bridge and Big Ben in the background. Futuristic - Link
If the first four results aren't realistic enough, refine your request:
  • Prompt: Make the 4th one much more realistic - Link
The latest result turned out great!
Example: Creating a Simple British-Style Logo For a cleaner look, like for a sticker:
  • Prompt: Create the logo of the "London Bitcoin Meetup" with a British and clean style - Link
The result looks really cool!
Tips for Working with AI
Be patient: AI may not produce exactly what you envision on the first try.
Use precise prompts: The clearer and more detailed your instructions, the better the results.
Ask for help: If you're not satisfied, reach out to someone experienced with graphic design or AI tools, many Bitcoiners will happily help, sometimes even for free or a few sats.
