How to Create a Bitcoin Community

BTC 304, What's Next

In this BTC 304 course, we've gone into detail on how to set up a community or meet-up, as well as how to launch a variety of projects.

When your community is ready to take the next step, you can create a formal association. In France, for example, of the roughly sixty communities and meet-ups, almost a dozen have an association status.

The benefits are twofold:

Official recognition: you can open an association bank account, receive press/media attention, and even apply for subsidies.
Structured organization: you can define clear roles, making it easier to run your community and carry out projects.

With the aim of helping your community flourish even further, it is not out of the question that a follow-up to this training may be released on Plan ₿ Academy in the coming months.

This next session could explore advanced topics such as:

Designing presentations or workshops for your meetups and setting clear objectives.
Organizing a large-scale event with around 100 participants. For this, we'll draw on the experiences of communities that have already created their own events and presentations.
